The Rhino HySafe team recently attended the ADIPEC 2024 exhibition in Abu Dhabi, where they were set up in the Welsh Government Pavilion in Hall 8 alongside 125 other Welsh, Scottish, and English stands.
ADIPEC, one of the largest global annual energy industry gatherings, reached new records this year with over 205,000 attendees from 172 countries. The event aimed to explore the power of energy in accelerating an economy-wide transformation that delivers for people, the planet, and our collective prosperity.
HySafe’s General Manager, Andrew Davies and Group Managing Director, Stuart Lawrence, engaged in numerous discussions with potential regional agents and customers. The HySafe team noted significant interest in the VERTEX Explosion Relief Panels (ERPs), especially regarding recent applications in the hydrogen sector, as showcased by a new HySafe contract.
Rhino HySafe is grateful for the Welsh Government’s support, which helped elevate their presence at this global event. The team present was delighted to have Edward Hobart, His Majesty’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, visit our stand. Sarah Taylor (Regional Manager) and Phil Taylor (Deputy Regional Manager) for the Welsh Government’s Middle East and North Africa team accompanied Mr Hobart.
This year’s exhibition, featuring more than 2,250 exhibitors, 16,500 conference delegates, 1,800 conference speakers and 370 conference sessions, was a fantastic success, and we were delighted to be part of it. The event underscored Abu Dhabi’s role as a hub for driving energy innovation and fostering international partnerships that support the transition to a more sustainable energy future.
Our team looks forward to attending ADIPEC 2025 as guests on the Welsh Government stand. It will be held again in Abu Dhabi from November 3rd to November 6th, 2025. We look forward to meeting with existing and potential customers in person again.
